A new petition is looking to change the name of the Allegheny County Airport in honor of one of their most famous residents, Fred Rogers.
Rogers was best known for his hit PBS show ‘Mr. Rogers Neighborhood’ and was a Pittsburgh native, encouraging involvement in the community.
The petition, which started Thursday, already reached it’s first goal of 1,500 supporters. They are now almost to their new goal of 7,500 supporters.
