Penn State is talking about diversity and inclusion at a new event next week.

“All In” is the newest initiative to take center stage at the university. Its goal is to spread awareness across campus and the surrounding community.

Organizers will hope the event will spark respectful and open-minded discussions. Students who helped spearhead the campaign want to create a safer environment on campus.

“We say ‘We Are, Penn State,’ so that means that we are and we are because I am. I think that holds everyone accountable for being a part of this change,” Brian Davis, a junior, said.

A video presentation will illustrate a historical timeline of diversity initiatives at Penn State, dating back to 1855. The event will begin at 7:15 p.m. on October 6 at Old Main.
