Advanced Disposal is offering free recycling of Christmas trees to Ferguson Township customers starting Jan. 9.
The last day for pick up will be Jan. 13, when trees will be taken on customer’s regular trash day between those dates.
The trees will be recycled at the State College Borough Compost Facility and turned into mulch.
Officials ask that before putting tree’s on the curb, make sure to remove decorations and leave the tree unbagged.
