The Greater Johnstown YMCA announced that this year’s marathon, half marathon, 10-K, and 5-K races have been canceled.
Organizers say they did not have enough sponsors or volunteers to put on this year’s event.
The event had been held in the community for 40 years.
YMCA organizers said they would like to try to revitalize the tradition and bring it back next year.
