A new 24/7 helpline is available to drug overdose survivors. Anyone who needs assistance after overdosing can call the number and recovery specialists will immediately help them get treatment.
They will even meet survivors in the hospital emergency room to get them help right away.
Alliance Medical Services helped set up the program this year for Cambria, Somerset and Bedford Counties.
