Three men are accused of sexually assaulting and torturing two teenage girls with hot knives in Milwaukee.

Prosecutors say part of the crimes happened in an abandoned house.

Derica Williams has the gruesome details.

A boarded up and abandoned home…

“I see people going in and out of that house,” said neighbor, Peggy McMurray.

Neighbors on 24th Street condemn the actions that happened inside.

“There shouldn’t be anyone there,” said McMurray

Peggy McMurray wishes she could have stopped it.

“I could have at least let them know there shouldn’t be anyone there in that house at all,” said McMurray.

She’s visibly upset.

Court documents say, Antwan Alexander, Wesley Brechlin, and Jarmon Turner severely abused two 16-year-old girls.

“I can’t get them kids out of my mind,” said McMurray.

“Oh my god,” said McMurray.

The girls are still suffering from burns that ranged from 1 to 5 inches in length with ‘layers of flesh burned off.’

On Saturday, Alexander was in court for the crimes.

“Looking at this case in particular with the need to protect the public, these are very serious charges the defendant is facing. If you add up each count individually over 100 years essentially in prison. The state is requesting $50,000 cash bail in this case,” said McMurray.

Meanwhile, his co-suspects are set to have their day in court in the future.

The suspects face a total of 18 counts including child abuse and sexual intercourse with a child.
