MCHENRY COUNTY, IL., (CBS) — Police have released the 911 call that first reported the disappearance of 5-year-old A.J. Freund from the family’s Crystal Lake home last Thursday.

The home is the focus of the investigation after K-9 dogs were unable to pick up A.J.’s scent anywhere else.

Police released more than  60 pages of reports detailing previous visits to the house indicating concern over horrible conditions and loss of electricity.

A.J.’s 3-year-old brother has been in protective custody since last week. The parents have also stopped cooperating with the police.

The mother, Joann Cunningham, appeared in court on Tuesday, but her attorney said the proceedings were postponed.

The State’s attorney did not refer to the parents but issued a warning for whoever is responsible for A.J.’s disappearance.
