Netflix is looking to raise its rates in the U.S. by one to two dollars over the next billing cycle.

The streaming service plans to use the increased revenue to help add more shows and movies. They will continue to budget heavily for Netflix Originals in 2019 and beyond.

In 2018, the company budgeted more than $8 billion for new, and original content.
