Lyft just pulled in front of Uber in the race to go public.

The ride-sharing company filed paperwork to list its stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker “Lyft”.

The company is hoping to raise as much as $100 million in its public offering. But that all depends on investor demand.

Lyft hit $2.2 billion in revenue in 2018…but its net loss climbed to $911 million the same year.

Uber is expected to be one of several startups to also go public this year.
