We visit Centre Wildlife Care to meet a Prairie Dog and Sugar Glider in this week’s Wildlife Wednesday EXTRA!
Wild About Animals is scheduled for Saturday, March 31 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Snider Ag Arena on Penn State’s University Park Campus. Admission is $8; Children 5 & Under get in free. All proceeds benefit Centre Wildlife Care.
Centre Wildlife Care is located on 15 acres of land in Port Matilda. Since opening in 1995, Centre Wildlife Care has cared for thousands of injured, sick and orphaned animals until they can be released back into the wild.
They are a 501c3 charity that is licensed by the Game Commission, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the Fish and Boat Commission to care for wild animals. They operate on donations only.
