Last year, March 29^th was officially designated at National Vietnam War Veterans Day. This national holiday will be celebrated locally with a special Vietnam Era Veterans Day Celebration.

The celebration will be held at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown this Thursday, March 29 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will include Vietnam-era memorabilia and music from Three of Hearts. In addition to the camaraderie of veterans, attendees will enjoy a light lunch and a brief recognition of two outstanding veteran volunteers from the community.

The event is free and open to the public. Veterans are encouraged to attend.
