Take a photographic rail trip through the late 19th and early 20th centuries courtesy of the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art!
Urban, Rural, Rail is a photographic exhibit featuring the works of photographer William H. Rau. The exhibit also features the contemporary black and white photographs of Michael Froio. Included in the exhibit are photos from the Pennsylvania Railroad, Lehigh Valley Railroad, and the Norfolk Southern Railway. Urban, Rural, Rail runs May 19 through September 9 at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Altoona. Operating hours are 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and Saturday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
