Celebrities already known for their over-the-top fashion choices tried to top themselves at last night’s annual Met Gala in New York.
The event featured more than 500 invited guests from the movie, music and fashion worlds.
Fearless stars pushed the limits to shine at fashion’s biggest night, bringing shock and awe to the steps of the Met.
The theme of this year’s gala and costume exhibit “Camp: Notes on Fashon”, which had some celebrities scratching their heads.
But many of the stars explained the meaning of camp, through their extreme outfits.

Katy Perry quite literally lit up the room. Cardi B’s red quilted dress had a train that took up nearly the entire carpet.
This year’s gala tickets sold for around $35,000 and tables started at $200,000.
The money raised will go toward future exhbitis and conseration of the costumes.
