This short story is set in the 1890s in a world of boot-stomping, gun-slinging cowboys. A young scholar from New York arrives in Twotrees brutally beaten. He finds refuge in the town and romance with a saloon owner named Hallie, but will he be able to avoid the outlaw who wants him dead?
“The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” will run from Thursday, September 22 through Saturday, September 24 at 7:30 pm at the Mishler Theatre in Altoona.
