Operation Our Town is collaborating with various law enforcement groups to raise funds for repair and maintenance of special operations vehicles.
One of the two armored tactical trucks used in Blair County needs almost $20,000 in repairs. The vehicle, which is used for both active shooting and high-risk drug situations, can carry 14 officers seated in full tactical gear and another additional 12 officers on the outside of the truck with a flip-up plate for a sniper. The funds will go towards the maintenance of the truck and for future expenses.
