Head to Downtown Huntingdon this Thursday for the next Art Walk Huntingdon!
Art Walk Huntingdon runs the third Thursday of every month, and continues this Thursday, May 18 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Downtown Huntingdon. Many local businesses have signed on to host arts related events on third Thursdays. The goal of the event is to get the community into arts related businesses and organizations throughout the year. The Art Walk will also provide the opportunity for the community to connect with Juniata College. The Juniata College Museum of Art will have extended hours on third Thursdays.
The May 18th walk features an art event to support human trafficking survivors. Studio One Fifteen is hosting the opening of their “I Believe You” exhibit. All pieces for the show are donated by artists for the purpose of raising awareness about human trafficking. Funds will go directly to support a survivor. Everything in the show will be priced at $25 or under. There will be art of various mediums as well handcrafted goods. Refreshments will be provided and admission is free!
