Dave Kuiawa from Fine Wine & Good Spirits is here to show us some Mardi Gras cocktails!
Mardi Gras Hurricane
· 2 oz Bacardí Rum (or any light rum)
· 2 oz Goslings Black Seal Bermuda Black Rum (or any dark rum)
· 2 oz passion fruit juice
· 1 oz orange juice
· 1 Tbsp simple syrup
· 1 Tbsp grenadine
· 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
· 1 each: orange slice and maraschino cherry
Add first seven ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a large hurricane glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
Canary Cocktail
· 1 ¼ oz orange juice
· 1 oz Cruzan Aged Rum (or any light rum)
· 1 oz The Kraken Black Spiced Rum (or any dark rum)
· ¼ oz Galliano Liqueur
· 1 lime wedge
· 1 maraschino cherry
Squeeze lime wedge into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add first four ingredients. Shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with maraschino cherry.
Southern Sun
· 2 oz Deep Eddy Peach Vodka
· 4 oz cranberry juice
· ¼ oz fresh lime juice
· 1 lime wedge
Combine first three ingredients in a tall glass filled with ice; stir gently. Garnish with lime wedge.
