Help keep Blair County beautiful by recycling your old tires, electronics, batteries, and more at the IRC Special Recycling Event!
The Keep Blair Beautiful Special Recycling Event is happening at PNG Field in Altoona on Saturday, October 22 from 8:00 am to noon. This multi-material recycling collection event includes Freon containing appliances.
The IRC and Keep Blair Beautiful will host a workshop for municipal officials at the US Hotel in Hollidaysburg on Tuesday, October 18 to discuss recycling and waste management efforts throughout the county. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 pm; the workshop begins at 6:30 pm. The IRC hopes to have at least one representative from each municipality attend the event.
