Dave Kuiawa from  Fine Wine & Good Spirits mixes up some spooky cocktails for Halloween.

Couleur Café

 

•          1 ½ ounces Grey Goose Original

•          ½ ounces Patron XO Cafe

•          1 ounce espresso

•          Splash of sugar cane syrup

•          Organic cream

 

Combine all ingredients (with exception of cream) in a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupette. Cover with a thin layer of organic cream and, if you wish, a light dusting of chocolate powder.

 

Harvest in a Glass

•          4 parts Licor 43

•          3 parts apple cider

 

Top with Yellow Tail Sparling Bubbles Rose

 

Martinez

•          2 oz Bluecoat American Dry Gin or Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin

•          1 oz sweet vermouth

•          ¼ oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

•          2 dashes bitters

•          Orange twist

 

Combine ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice; stir until chilled. Pour into a Nick & Nora or coupe glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

 

Bee’s Knees

•          2 oz Bluecoat American Dry Gin or Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin

•          ¾ oz fresh lemon juice

•          ½ oz fresh honey syrup*

 

Lemon twist Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice; shake vigorously. Double strain into a cocktail coupe, and garnish with a lemon twist.

*Honey Syrup: Combine equal parts honey with boiling water. Stir to dissolve honey, cool completely
