Cherry Almond Oatmeal
Total Time: 12 minutes
Servings: 4
Total Cost: $3.60
Ingredients
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 cups water
2 cups regular almond milk
1 1/2 cups pitted cherries, halved
2 tablespoons almond butter
4 teaspoons honey
Directions
In a medium or large saucepan, bring water and almond milk to a boil. Stir in oats and cook until the oats absorb most of the water. Stir frequently for about 5 minutes. *The oatmeal will still be relatively runny at this point- it’s OK! Stir in the cherries, almond butter and honey and let sit for 2 minutes so that most of the liquid will be absorbed as it sits. Pour into bowls and serve hot!
