CHEF TERRY’S MARYLAND CRAB CAKES

6 servings|20 mins Prep time

INGREDIENTS

1 can – crab meat

1T – Worcestershire

1 rib – celery

2 tea spoons – old bay spice

1 T – lemon juice

1 – egg

1 ½ cups – panko bread crumbs

 3 T – mayo

1 tea spoon – dry mustard

¼ teaspoon – white pepper

DIRECTIONS

Wearing gloves, mix all ingredients together in a bowl. (Add more bread crumbs as needed)Until mixture  pulls all together.

Squeeze in hands forming patty shaped cakes. Put a coating of panko crumbs pressed on the outside. Then roll in crumbs again for a nice bread crumb coating.

Should get approx. 6 cakes

Deep fry until golden.

If not hot inside, microwave 1 minute.

Serve with tarter sauce. Or Cocktail sauce.
