“Best Of Show” Cornbread

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Butter

2/3 cup of Sugar

2 Eggs

1 cup Buttermilk

1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

1 cup of Cornmeal

1 cup of Flour

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 8 inch pan with cooking spray. Melt butter , stir in sugar, quickly add eggs, beat with wire whisk till blended. Combine buttermilk and baking soda in separate bowl. Combine with butter mixture, Stir in cornmeal, flour and salt, until well blended. Pour into pan. Bake 28 minutes and check till toothpick comes out clean.    Enjoy 🙂
