Go to bat against hunger at the Batting for Backpacks Softball Tournament!
The Batting for Backpacks Softball Tournament is set for Saturday, June 18 at 8:00 am at three ball fields in Altoona: Leopold, Westfall, and Garfield. Registration is $225 for teams of 10, but you can get $25 off if you sign up by Wednesday, June 15. Teams should be made up of seven men and three women. There will be a bounce house, sno cones, cotton candy and more at the Garfield Field for spectators! All proceeds benefit the Mountain Lion Backpack Program.
