Mike Doyle

Mike is a native to Pennsylvania. He grew up in the city of Horsham and attended Hatboro-Horsham High School just north of Philadelphia. As a kid Mike was always fascinated by thunderstorms and airplanes. While most kids in high school were going for their driver’s license Mike was going for his Private Pilot License. He flew Cessna 172’s out of Wings field in Blue Bell, PA. It was at this time he realized his real interest was in the weather. 

After graduating from Hatboro-Horsham High School he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fl. Mike graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology. While at Embry-Riddle, he was an active member of the Meteorological Weather Society, Chi Epsilon Pi and he helped other students hone their skills in front of the green screen.

After he graduated from Embry-Riddle he worked for the Alabama News Network in Montgomery, Al. Prior to working for WTAJ, Mike was the Weekend Meteorologist in Medford, OR at KDRV Newswatch 12.

Mike is excited to be back in his home state and closer to his family and friends. 

Outside of work Mike enjoys spending time with his dog “Mozzie”, hiking, photography, cooking and watching movies and shows.
