Samsung says it has no plans to delay next week’s launch of its latest smartphone, despite reports that the devices can easily break.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold costs nearly $2,000.

The smartphone is able to open up into a tablet.

But some reviewers who got a sneak preview of the Galaxy Fold say they found defective hinges on the device.

Not only that, but they say the screens broke after removing the phone’s protective film.

In a statement, Samsung says removing the film or adding adhesives to the screen may cause damage.

But the company will not push back the Galaxy Fold’s April 26th launch.

Pre-orders for the phone have already sold out online.
