ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY (WTAJ) — Lakemont Park in Altoona is hosting an event to benefit animals across the country.
The Bark N Park event will take place on June 22.
It includes a barbeque, home depot kids workshop, and is an adoption event where you can meet local rescue pets!
It is a five dollar donation per car and you must buy a ticket to participate in the barbeque.
The event benefits the Mia Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to rescuing animals with birth defects.
Proceeds will also go to the Mia Foundations community outreach program “Mojo’s Mission”; which assists senior pet owners here in central PA with routine pet care through.
