A bank headquartered in our region announced plans Thursday, to merge with a financial corporation located in Harrisburg.
CBT Financial Corp. operates 13 offices in Clearfield, Huntingdon, Blair and Centre Counties. It’s merging with Riverview Financial Corporation, which has 20 offices, including one in Somerset County.
The combined company will move its headquarters to State College.
The merger must still win regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
