Nurses are getting special attention from an area health system. Geisinger has announced the creation of a nursing institute to oversee the practice and education of nurses.

 

The move, announced on Monday, is designed to provide more support, tools, and skills to nurses.The Geisinger Health System employs nearly 6,000 nurses and is recruiting several hundred more.
