Friday night, Johnstown Rotary Club members are hosting a 100th anniversary celebration.
They will remember the club’s history and the work they’ve done in the community, including working with the epilepsy center, providing scholarships to students and updating the inclined plane signs.
“Our motto is service above self. It’s something we try to embody. We think what can we do for other people and to give back to the community and also the world since we do work internationally,” said Ivar Berge, the former Johnstown Rotary Club President.
The Rotary Club wants to recruit more members who are willing to take a hands-on approach to better the community.
