Pending full Board of Trustees approval, Penn State football will continue to upgrade its practice facilities.
According to a Penn State media release, the next phase of renovations to the Mildred and Louis Lasch Football Building, the outdoor practice fields and Holuba Hall has been approved by the Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning Thursday. Now, the improvements will go to the full Board of Trustees for approval Friday on May 3.
The renovations are part of a 69-million-dollar plan to upgrade the facilities.
Renovations first started on the Lasch Building in 2015 and were completed earlier this year. Ronovations to Holuba Hall (Penn State’s indoor football practice facility) will include more restrooms and “spectator amenities.”
According to the release, since the renovations started in 2015, fundraising has collected $28.1 million to help pay for the upgrades.
