The Paterno Family has dropped it’s lawsuit against the NCAA and former NCAA President Mark Emmert.
The family of ex-football coach Joe Paterno filed the defamation lawsuit back in 2013 after the investigation into the Sandusky scandal. The Paterno’s and former coach William Kenney filed the suit claiming that the Freeh Report defamed their legacy and reputation.
Kenney’s suit claimed that due to the report he was unable to find any other coaching opportunities.
