On Thursday, Representative Glenn Thompson met with the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Association.

They met in a closed door meeting to discuss the need to grow and advance the factory built housing industry in the region.

Congressman Thompson said that because of  unnecessary and ineffective regulations, housing costs have continued to increase.

“Unfortunately government regulations can add costs.  Some of the things we talked about was the additional costs of over regulations that have been placed.  And significant percentage and cost increases as a result of regulations that really are not necessary,” said Thompson.

Congressman Thompson says he regularly meets with constituents thorughtout the district to hear their concerns.

He is always looking for home grown solutions to take  back to Washington.
