The next Altoona Curve home series is packed with fun things for the whole family! Celebrate the start of Football season and the Pittsburgh Pirates!
The Curve begin a crucial series in their push for the playoffs tonight as they welcome in the Bowie Baysox for a four-game series beginning tonight at 6:00 pm. Tonight is Pitt vs. Penn State Night as former Nittany Lion quarterback Zack Mills and Panther signal caller Tyler Palko will be in attendance to meet and greet fans. Friday is Back to School Night as the first 1,000 fans 12 and younger will get their own lunch bag. Saturday will feature a Broadway themed fireworks show and Sunday is Buccomania with an early gate opening at 4:00 pm! The Altoona Symphony Orchestra will perform for Day in the Arts until 5:30 pm on the concourse, and the Pirate Parrot, the Pierogis and Bucco Brigade will be in attendance with the Sunday Pirates-style jersey auction to benefit the respiratory disease society of Blair County and fireworks!
