Local Tesla car owners got together Sunday to teach people about electric cars.

It was all part of National Drive Electric Week.

The purpose is to bring awareness of the widespread availability of plug-in vehicles.

Several people gathered in our area to highlight the benefits of an electric car and teach others exactly how they work.
