A Centre County man is behind bars after threatening to harm an officer.
Police were called to a Reynolds Avenue home in Bellefonte around 1:45 Monday morning. Dennis Hassinger was drunk and causing problems with a woman living there. He allegedly said he wanted officers to kill him. Officers say he wouldn’t listen to reason and was tazed after making physical threats.
He’s charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
