There’s another shake-up in Johnstown City Council.

After less than a year on the job, WTAJ received a copy of a letter that City Manager Arch Liston wrote to city officials, informing them he will not be renewing his contract.

Liston’s contract runs out on December 31, 2017.

He took over the city manager position from Melissa Komar, the current executive director of the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority, after she resigned in December 2016.

Liston said he will work with officials to find his replacement. No word yet as to why Liston is resigning.
