A Cambria County man is facing drug charges after police say they found him with a large amount of bath salts.

According to the Altoona Mirror, Robert Regan of Gallitzin was seen getting into a car outside of a house that’s known for drug activity last Thursday.

When police followed the car and tried to pull it over, Regan allegedly jumped out of the passenger side and ran away.

After officials caught him, they say he admitted to throwing a bag filled with more than 100 grams of bath salts under the car.

This morning he’s behind bars at the Cambria County Prison.

His preliminary hearing is set for November 21st.
