Johnstown Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

Investigators said a man armed with a gun stole a couple hundred dollars in cash from Koch’s convenience store on Strayer Street in the West End around 1:15 p.m. Monday.

Police said the suspect is a white male in his 20s, about 6’2. They said he was wearing cranberry colored pants, a grey hoodie, a thick camouflage print jacket and an orange ski mask at the time of the robbery.

Police said employees ran after the suspect, but he got away on a bicycle. No one was hurt.

The same store was robbed about six months ago.

“It’s a great store. The owner’s amazing. For them to do this again, it’s just not right. That’s what I think,” said Brianna Brown, a West End resident who lives near the store.

Police are looking at surveillance video to identify the suspect.
