The trial for an accused cop killer has been rescheduled.
According to our news partners at the Tribune Democrat, Ray Shetler Jr.’s trial is expected to start in early February after jury selection is finished.
That selection process will begin on February 5th.
Shetler is accused of shooting and killing Somerset County resident and police officer Lloyd Reed Jr. during a domestic dispute call at a Westmoreland County home in November of 2015.
Shetler’s trial has been postponed more than half a dozen times.
It was originally supposed to begin in November of last year.
