A line of strong to severe thunderstorms have caused damage across the state.
The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings to be issued for Elk, Clinton and Cameron counties Tuesday afternoon. The same line of storms prompted tornado warnings and watches across northeastern and central parts of the state. As of right now there is no confirmation of a tornado touching down.
Delullo’s Deli in St. Mary’s had part of its roof ripped off during the storm. Multiple trees fell on power lines, causing outages in town. The storm caused the Elk County 911 Dispatch Center to go down for a period of time, but a back-up radio system allowed them to communicate after the storm.
