A park that was closed for a few years is open for the summer with a new look.

Improvements to Cold Stream Dam wrapped up earlier this year. It features new playground equipment, pavilions and a bridge over the dam.

The cost of the project was $2.3 million after the dam was ruled unsafe in 2009. Park visitors are excited for the changes.
