Police were called out to Best Buy in Logan Town Center just before 10:00 Tuesday night for a reported theft.
Employee’s were able to describe the suspects vehicle and the direction they drove off in.
Officers found the car, and pulled it over and searched the vehicle. They found several items worth more than $14,000 combined stolen from different stores.
They also found marijuana packaged to sell in large sums. The suspects allegedly are from the Republic of Chile and they told the officers they will send the items to Chile to be sold.
“It is a little unusual to have international crime here in Blair County. but fortunately we had a very quick response,” Logan Township Police Chief David Reese said. “Mot only from Logan Township Police, Allegheny Township Police, the Altoona Police Department and (Pennsylvania) State Police were very very helpful in assisting our members.”
The three men are facing several charges including retail theft. One suspect, Kenia Rojas, ran from the scene and is wanted for questioning.
