Bowen is no longer listed on Penn State’s official roster.
The team recently welcomed Bowen back after he was released after a “violation of team rules” just before Penn State defeated Washington in the Fiesta Bowl.
Bowen was also suspended for the final three games of Penn State’s regular season last year.
He tallied 51 tackles in nine games last season and also started 12 games as a sophomore for the Nittany Lions. Bowen has played in each of his years with the team – playing in 13 games as a true freshman as well.
