A former Walmart pharmacist has been arrested for prescription fraud.

65-year-old Richard Wisz, of Ligoneir, PA, worked at several Walmart locations in Indiana, Somerset and Westmoreland counties.

Officials say he allegedly obtained more than 50 fraudulent prescriptions for anti-anxiety pills and billed the insurance companies for them.

He now faces 145 felony counts of insurance fraud, forgery and illegally prescribing drugs, and 120 misdemeanor counts.

His next hearing is set for September 19.
