A hotel in Windber is hosting a ghost hunt this weekend.
The Grand Midway Hotel will be part of the world’s largest ghost hunt Saturday night.
The event takes place at haunted buildings all over the world.
The Grand Midway Hotel was one of the first businesses in Windber. Now, it’s a private home.
The owner runs a coffee shop inside, holds movie nights and just started renting out rooms on Air BNB so that guest can see the spooky happenings first-hand.
“It certainly is a creepy place at times. I was raised in a funeral home. my parents are funeral directors and nothing like that creeps me out. And I moved in here and I was creeped out, my roommates were creeped out,” said Blair Murphy, the hotel’s owner.
