JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Johnstown Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the downtown branch of the Franklin Johnstown Federal Credit Union on Vine Street.

A black male with his hood over his head, tight very tight, and wearing a black and red coat came into the bank just after 10 a.m. Thursday. He gave the bank teller a note stating this was a hold up and to give him the money.

He told the teller “I want them all in 100s, all of them.”

The suspect got $1100 and then ran out of the bank and proceeded between the towers towards Main Street.

Surveillance cameras captured footage inside the location, and it has been turned over to police.

The branch was closed on Thursday for the rest of the day. It’s re-opened Friday for normal business hours.
