The Johnstown Tomahawks rallied around their number one fan.
They helped raise more than $5,000 for Head Coach Mike Letizia’s wife, Alana, who’s battling breast cancer. The money will help them pay for medical expenses.
On Saturday, the team hosted its annual Face-off Against Cancer night to raise money for the Letizias and the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center in Windber.
In total, the event raised more than $10,000 to help local families fighting cancer.
