If you plan on taking Route 30 in Somerset County soon, you might want to be aware of a road closure coming up.

There will be a 12 hour road closure of US Route 30 for construction on the Route 4019 (Bicycle Road) bridge, spanning Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Quemahoning Township, Somerset County for placement of the concrete deck.

US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) will be closed in both directions near the bridge site starting Saturday, November 3, at 4 AM and will be closed until Saturday, at 4 PM.

Sunday, November 4, will be the rain date.

Drivers will be directed to follow a detour along US Route 219 (Flight 93 Memorial Highway) and Route 281 (Stoystown Road).

US Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) may also be closed for other construction activities in the near future.

The bridge is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
