The 9th annual Central PA Pet Expo took place at the Blair County Convention Center on Sunday.

It’s a chance for families to learn about shelters, rescuing animals and to encourage folks to be responsible pet owners.

“Having people come out and talk to the veterinarians, the rescue groups, the shelters, the trainers, the experts in the field, we feel that this is a great opportunity for people to interact one-on-one with the experts,” said Amy Hanna-Eckenrode, the show’s director.

There were also free samples, goodies for sale and entertainment for pet parents and their four-legged kids.
