Logan Township Police have arrested a man for rape and aggravated assault.
Kevin Thompkins, 51, was arrested after police received a phone call Friday about a domestic violence incident.
The incident occurred at the Motel 6 in Logan Township. Police say Thompkins forced his way into the victim’s hotel room around 11 p.m. Friday and repeatedly sexually assaulted, physically assaulted, and held the victim against her will until 5:30 a.m.
The victim was able to escape and called the police from a nearby Sheetz.
Thompkins is facing 16 criminal charges including rape, strangulation, aggravated assault and burglary.
He is currently being held in the Blair County Prison on a $100,000 bail.
